Frequently asked questions

Yes. Showit works with WordPress for blogging. You'll need a Showit subscription that includes blogging, and Showit's team will need to set up or migrate your blog.

Can I have a blog?

You can access our guides and tutorials whenever you need them. For template-related questions, the Maeten Support Center is available, and Showit's support team can help with platform and technical issues.

What if I need help?

That depends on how much content you have ready and how much you'd like to customise. Having your photography, copy and branding prepared before you start will make the process much easier.

How long will it take to build my website?

No previous design or coding experience is required, although you'll need to spend a little time learning how Showit works. Every Maeten template includes guides and tutorials to help you get started.

Do I need any website design experience?

You'll receive your website template Share Key, along with the copy guide, style guide, SEO guide, launch checklist and video tutorials. You'll also have access to the Maeten Support Center.

What do I receive when I purchase a template?

Yes. Your Maeten template is a one-time purchase, while Showit requires a separate subscription to publish and host your website. Your domain name is also purchased separately.

Do I need a Showit subscription?

Absolutely. You can change the fonts, colours, images, text and layouts to suit your brand. You're not limited to the design shown in the demo.

Can I change the design to suit my studio?
