About Maeten
The Maeten Mission
To provide high-end, custom-level websites for interior designers, without the custom design timeline or price tag.
Maeten was born from two decades of designing websites. I started back in 2004—and yes, my very first site was a legendary Geocities masterpiece with an all-black background, steel-grey beveled buttons (so fancy), and aqua blue Courier New font.
While I try not to think about that glorious "design" too much, those early experiments were the foundation of a twenty-year obsession with how we tell stories online. Today, I’ve distilled that experience into Maeten. I’ve moved away from the all-purpose web building of the past to focus on something I truly love: creating intentional, spacious websites for interior design studios who want a digital home as sophisticated as their work.
My own design perspective is shaped by the environment I call home here on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. There’s a specific balance, light, and grounded beauty here that I see interior designers chasing every day — that "home" feeling that feels effortless.
When I’m not deep in the Showit editor, you’ll likely find me enjoying a local coffee, exploring the coastline with my dog, and finding beauty in the simple things.
I built these systems so you can spend less time wrestling with tech and more time doing what you love — creating beautiful spaces. I’m here to make sure your website feels just as intentional and well-designed as the physical spaces you create.
