Maeten is proudly owned and operated by Elicia Webber, a web designer with more than 20 years' experience building websites for service-based professionals. In 2025, she hung up the custom design hat and founded Maeten from the Sunshine Coast.
Today, Maeten builds Showit templates for interior designers who want a website that doesn't just look good, but does the heavy lifting of positioning them as the go-to, without the wait or the price tag of a custom build.

When I see stunning imagery, colour palettes and typography working together to display someone's portfolio, it's food for my soul. Nothing brings me more joy.
The opposite? Seeing someone's amazing talent presented on a mediocre website. Nothing gives me the ick more, and I immediately want to take their work and rebuild the whole thing.
So how does a talented designer end up with a mediocre website? They either hired someone who doesn't get that joy I just described, or they tried to DIY it and the tech got the better of them. I’ve watched both happen plenty of times and that is why I founded Maeten.
